About the Team

The Arlington Arsenal team began playing in the DCMSBL metal bat league in the summer of 2008 in the 18+ division where we continue to play today. We are a group of guys that love the game of baseball with a small core of players who have been playing ball together since tee-ball. A normal team for us consists of about 7-8 players native to the National Capital Region and the other 7-8 being transplants to the NCR from various areas of the country.

The Arsenal has 8 division titles and 4 Championship trophies since the team was established in 2008. We run a competitive, but not baseball factory style team. We practice about once a weekend in the months leading up to the season and practice as needed during the regular season. The regular season has 16 games that start in April and runs through July with playoff games in August. The majority of games are on Sundays with no games scheduled on the major holiday weekends (Mothers Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend).
